During his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Atalanta man talked about his nickname ‘The President’ and many other derby-related issues.
“Once I parked my car in Gazidis’ place in Milanello. They told me I couldn’t do it and I replied: ‘What’s the problem? I am the new Milan CEO’,” Kessié said when asked why he's been called 'The President'.
“I like jokes, of course I know I am not the President,” he continued.
Who is his idol and what’s his relationship with Ibrahimovic?
“Yaya Touré is my idol,” the 24-year-old claimed.
“As for Ibra, he is unequalled from a technical point of view. As a teammate, he always gives you something more. It’s not easy to find champions with this personality.”
Which player would he take off Inter’s squad?
“Nobody, if we win against a full squad it’s better for us and for the entertainment. Every player will be decisive.”
Which one his favourite derby is?
“The one we won with a last-minute winner scored by [Patrick] Cutrone."
