“Gattuso is making us work harder, especially on tactics. With Montella we did very little work in training, but it’s different with Gattuso and you can see the results on the pitch,” the midfielder told Mediaset Premium.
“The locker room atmosphere is the same as it always was, the difference is that now we work harder. It’s like a family here and the results are arriving.”
Milan are now joint sixth in Serie A, will play Arsenal in the Europa League Round of 16 and visit Lazio on Wednesday for the Coppa Italia semi-final.
“We are now focusing on the Lazio game, then we’ll think about the rest. One step at a time.”
Meanwhile, Montella's Sevilla side were beaten 5-2 at home by Atletico Madrid this evening.
