Italy international Moise Kean confirms he could’ve returned to Juventus, but opted for PSG and is ‘not particularly upset’ to have left Everton behind.

It is only a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain for the 20-year-old forward, although he seems to already be looking at the long-term implications.

“I am not particularly upset to have left English football, even if the banner from the Everton fans really moved me, as I wasn’t expecting it,” he told RAI Sport.

The banner in question was an anti-racism show of support from the Toffees fans.

He’d only just made the €27.5m plus bonuses move from Juve at the time and was close to a return over the summer, having scored just four goals in 37 appearances for the Premier League club.

“It’s true, I could’ve returned to Juve, but I made this decision along with my family to play in Ligue 1. I’ve been to Paris before and have relatives here.

“I hope to learn a great deal from this fantastic experience. I am young, I like to work closely with top strikers, so I can learn from their experience and their style of football.”
