Daichi Kamada is expected to have his Milan medical next week, as today his agents met with directors to discuss the details of his free transfer.

The Japan international creative midfielder will be out of contract when his current deal with Eintracht Frankfurt expires on June 30.

He was linked with several clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Napoli.

However, multiple sources over the last few days confirm that Kamada has chosen Milan for his next destination after they mathematically secured qualification for the Champions League.

Intermediary agent Beppe Bozzo met with Milan directors today and reportedly agreed a four-year contract worth €3m per season.

A medical is scheduled for next week and then Kamada can become the second summer signing for the Rossoneri after fellow free agent Marco Sportiello of Atalanta, who agreed terms months ago.

Kamada will turn 27 years of age in August and plays as a creative midfielder, where this season for Eintracht Frankfurt he was able to contribute 16 goals and seven assists.
