Milan will reportedly fund an assault for Verona’s Juan Iturbe with savings made on Ricky Kaka and Robinho.

The Rossoneri have been linked with a move of between €25m and €30m this summer for the Gialloblu’s rising attacking star.

Whilst coming in spite of reports that the club are otherwise looking to raise funds in this market with a proposed sale of Mario Balotelli, the Gazzetta dello Sport have run through how Iturbe may be funded.

The pink paper believe that Milan are budgeting for such a move for the 21-year-old Buenos Aires native through the increasingly anticipated exits of Robinho and Ricky Kaka.

Both linked with returns to Brazil or with possible moves to the MLS, Kaka’s remaining year on a believed €4m salary and Robinho’s remaining two years on a €2.5m package amount to a total spend of €18m gross that Milan are seen as ready to instead put towards buying Iturbe.
