It looks like it will be one-way traffic at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday night and these Juventus vs. Sampdoria predictions forecast a big home win for the Turin side.

Juventus vs. Sampdoria odds

1 – Juventus to win – 4/11

2 – Over 2.5 goals scored – 1/1

3 – Juventus to win to nil – 10/11

4 – Dušan Vlahović to score at anytime – 11/10

5 – Juventus to score more than 2.5 goals – 7/4

This game looks like one of the more simple Serie A clashes to predict this season. Juventus are on a high after losing just once in their last five games and received some good news about their appeal against the 15-point deduction in the week. Whereas Sampdoria remain bottom of the table, having picked up just two points out of the last 24, and seem certain to be relegated.

Juve did lose their last Serie A game though – a 1-0 defeat to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico – and had to deal with a tough Europa League game in midweek. But they should still easily take all three points from a poor Sampdoria.

That defeat to Roma was the first in five games, in a spell that had seen the club climb the table once again. A classic Derby della Mole ended in a 4-2 win for the Old Lady and now Juventus will be confident of winning this weekend.

In contrast, there seems very little to be confident about when it comes to Sampdoria. A goalless draw at home against struggling Salernitana last weekend was the latest example of how absolutely nothing is going right for the Genoa club this season.

Sampdoria seem nailed on for relegation to Serie B, to end 11 seasons in the Italian top-flight, and a lack of goals has been just one of the major problems for both managers this season.

Dejan Stanković has attempted to stamp his own authority on the team since joining in October, but he has still only overseen two wins in all that time. A host of injuries has not helped but Sampdoria look almost guaranteed to lose heavily against Juventus this weekend.

Juventus team news

Maxi Allegri will be confident that his side can come back from the defeat at the Stadio Olimpico – and may even bring Federico Chiesa in from the start. Paul Pogba may start as a sub again though, while Moise Kean is suspended following his red card against Roma.

Sampdoria team news

Dejan Stanković will probably be aiming for a damage limitation exercise more than anything – and still has a long injury list to deal with as well. Fabio Quagliarella may get a rare start here though, with Abdelhamid Sabiri very publically out of favour. Manolo Gabbiadini should also return up front after suspension.
