The Senegal international striker’s contract expires at the end of this season and he has no intention of signing a new deal.

Lazio President Claudio Lotito came out in the open on Friday and told Il Messaggero newspaper the Juventus “offer doesn’t even reach €15m.”

According to Sky Sport Italia, the latest bid on the table is €20m (£17.9m) and Juve don’t seem ready to go any higher for a player who will be a free agent in 11 months.

Lazio are holding out for €30m (£26.8m), because this is the figure they had agreed with Milan and Napoli, but Keita refused all options that weren’t Juventus.

The forward is also turning down a move abroad, snubbing Monaco and West Ham United, as he wants to remain in Serie A.

The only genuine contenders to Juve for Keita’s signature are Inter.

Sportitalia claim that the Nerazzurri are hoping to include Jovetic as part of an exchange deal to get Keita from Lazio.

Jovetic just returned from a six-month loan spell at Sevilla, but the Spanish club did not agree terms to make the transfer permanent.

Inter had already tried to offer Eder for Keita, but it’s rumoured the Italy international refused to join Lazio.
