Mario Mandzukic believes he has joined ‘the best team in Italy’, as he’s officially presented as a Juventus player.
The Croatian striker has joined the Bianconeri from Atletico Madrid, and reiterates that he’s always had a soft-spot for the Turin giants.
“This is a great team, and I’ve liked Juventus for years,” Mandzukic said in his Press conference.

“This is a great team, and I’ve liked Juventus for years,” Mandzukic said in his Press conference.
“The decision wasn’t very difficult. There are exceptional, top players here, a great team, the best in Italy, and that was the reason for my choice.”
The former Bayern Munich striker also revealed he’ll have the chance to play with one of his childhood heroes now he’s joined the Old Lady.
“I spoke with [Gigi] Buffon several times, I told him he’s been an idol of mine since I was a child. Often we’ve greeted each other with affection, but no specific discussions.”
