According to reports in Italy, Paulo Dybala will undergo medical examinations in Turin today, but could be ruled out of the game against Lazio with a calf injury.

The Argentinean striker was replaced during Argentina’s World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay on Friday night.

He returned to Turin yesterday and according to reports in Italy, he will undergo medical examinations at the J Medical today.

La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport report the Argentinean doesn’t feel pain, but this doesn’t mean he will be fit to play against Lazio on Saturday. Dybala missed Argentina’s match against Brazil on Tuesday.

Even if medical examinations in South America did not highlight any lesion, Dybala’s physical conditions need to be assessed by Juventus medics.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Dybala is ‘in strong doubt’ for the match against Lazio, while Tuttosport reports La Joya will decide whether he can play or not with Juventus’ medical staff given that his physical condition doesn’t seem to be critical.

Juventus are likely to release a fitness update regarding their star striker today.
