Juventus have agreed the terms of a deal with Milinkovic-Savic and are now planning a way to reach an agreement with Lazio, reports detail.

It was reported yesterday that the Serbian midfielder had verbally agreed to sign a contract with the Old Lady worth around €6m net per season plus add-ons. Around 18 months remain on his contract with Lazio and the club are desperate to tie him down to a new deal, but his desire for a €40-50m release clause could block an agreement.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Juventus are planning to free up space in the midfield by cutting three from their squad. Leandro Paredes will be sent back to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, Adrien Rabiot will leave on a free transfer when his contract expires and the Bianconeri will try to sell Weston McKennie for around €25-30m.

The departures of these three would give Juventus sufficient space and resources to sign Milinkovic-Savic, although they have no intention of getting close to Claudio Lotito’s €100m valuation.

For his part, Milinkovic-Savic is keen on the idea of joining Juventus and isn’t currently on track to sign a new contract, although he wants Lazio to cash in on his sale in recognition of their history together.
