After some exploratory talks with Alvaro Odriozola’s entourage, Juventus are ready to sit down to discuss the details of a deal with Real Madrid, reports detail.

The 26-year-old Spanish right back has not made a single appearance with Los Blancos this season under Carlo Ancelotti, disappointing considering his impressive year on loan with Fiorentina last campaign. In Florence, Odriozola scored once and provided one assist, looking a good fit in Vincenzo Italiano’s system.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Juventus have already spoken to Odriozola’s entourage and are interested in picking up the Spaniard in January. They’ll sit down with Real Madrid to discuss the details of a possible deal, and they already have a plan in mind.

The Bianconeri would like to sign the 26-year-old on a loan deal with a buy option attached, whilst the Spanish giants would prefer a definitive sale. Odriozola’s contract expires with Real Madrid in June 2024, so January would be the perfect time to sell.

Odriozola joined Real Madrid from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2018 in a deal worth around €32m.
