Juventus are preparing to rebuild their management structure and Federico Cherubini could leave, prompting the Old Lady to start considering Napoli’s Cristiano Giuntoli, reports detail.

The recent legal issues surrounding the Bianconeri has pushed the club to start overhauling their management, with president Andrea Agnelli and the entire board of directors resigning recently. New president Gianluca Ferrero has been appointed and he may soon have to find a replacement for Cherubini, who is also involved in the situation in Turin.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus are big fans of Giuntoli and even contacted the Napoli sporting director a year ago after the departure of Fabio Paratici.

The 50-year-old Italian director has been with the Partenopei since 2015 and overseen a number of impressive deals in the transfer market, with the most recent success being the €10m acquisition of Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Other deals that haven’t gone unnoticed in the Piedmont capital include the arrivals of Giacomo Raspadori, Giovanni Simeone and Kim Min-Jae.

Giuntoli is contracted to Napoli until 2024 and may be hesitant about the idea of accepting an offer from the Partenopei’s bitter rivals.
