According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Benfica defender Victor Lindelof is one of the names thought to be under consideration, though the Bianconeri would face competition from Inter and Manchester United.

It’s therefore thought that the main target is Branislav Ivanovic, who has fallen out of favour under Antonio Conte this season.

The Old Lady initially wanted to negotiate for the Serb in the summer, but the defensive injury crisis may move things forward.
