Whilst Juventus have already guaranteed at least €50m in revenues from the Champions League, failing to progress to the knockout stages would see them miss out on millions more.

The Bianconeri’s European campaign has not kicked off well – the team lost to Paris Saint-Germain in their opener and disappointed at home against Benfica, picking up zero points from their first two outings. The pressure is now on ahead of Juventus’ next match against Israeli side Maccabi Haifa.

As detailed by Corriere dello Sport, Juventus have already secured around €50m in revenue from their Champions League participation, but their failure to put any results on the board could seriously cost them.

Every win guarantees a further €2.8m and draws secure €930,000, with losses giving nothing extra. Failing to progress to the knockout stages would see them miss out on a further €9.6m, important figures as the club look to continue their rebuild in a bid to return to the top.

  1. That is not an issue. The 7/9 have a president who can move a few decimal points here and there. Better for the minnows of Europe to dump Hiroshima Max now. Although he is on big money, can they really stomach Nagasaki style atomic calcio coma for another 2 years. My gut feeling is yes. The 19th Century club crave, yearn and lap up 1-0, 0-0 and 1-1 zombie style debacles.

  2. Fatecisognare I think that best describes you. Everywhere he goes you have to coat-tail him. Nobody is interested in what you have to say. Is why you ride his coat-tails?
