Juventus are ready to offer a new contract to USMTN international Weston McKennie, reports Romeo Agresti.

McKennie returned to the Allianz Stadium last summer after a six-month loan spell at Leeds United which ended with relegation to the English Championship.

He was expected to leave Turin initially, but on the contrary, he has become a regular starter in Turin collecting 19 appearances and two assists this term.

As reported by Juventus expert Romeo Agresti, the Old Lady’s directors are so happy with McKennie’s performances this season that they will soon sit down with the 25-year-old to discuss a contract extension.

The midfielder’s current deal at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2025, and according to the report, it is likely that the two parties will reach an agreement pretty quickly as Wes feels entirely involved in the Juventus project.

The American midfielder is suspended for the next Serie A game against Sassuolo having collected his fifth yellow card this season on Sunday against Salernitana.

Therefore, he is expected to start against Frosinone in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals this coming Thursday.
