Juventus have announced midfielder Adrien Rabiot has tested negative for coronavirus and will be available for the Derby d’Italia against Inter.

The Bianconeri had to cope without Rabiot in the 1-0 win over Zenit St Petersburg this week, but the Frenchman, who tested positive for COVID-19 upon his return from international duty, should be back in contention for the big game on Sunday.

Juventus have confirmed the player carried out the swab and tested negative for coronavirus and the player is therefore back in the squad and no longer subjected to home isolation.

SportItalia claims Rabiot should be available for the match against Inter on Sunday evening, when Max Allegri’s men travel to play the reigning champions arrive at the Giuseppe Meazza.

The 1-0 win over Zenit means Juve are now unbeaten in eight games and the Old Lady has picked up four wins on the bounce in Serie A and are recovering from the poor start to the campaign.
