Juventus will reportedly discover the decision regarding the appeal over their -15 point deduction at 18.00 UK time on Thursday evening.

Vincenzo Marangio of Tuttomercato Radio and Bianconera News reported that the verdict will be made official later this evening, prior to the kick-off of Juve’s Europa League clash with Sporting CP at 20.00.

The 15-point penalty was imposed in January 2023 for artificially inflating transfer fees in order to boost capital gains, and an immediate points penalty was implied, plummeting the Old Lady down several positions in the Serie A table.

The appeal was heard at the Collegio di Garanzia in Rome on Wednesday afternoon, lasting approximately three hours, although an official decision was postponed for the following day.

Multiple sources suggest it became increasingly likely the matter will be sent to a different court for a new trial, which would mean Juve getting their 15 points back for the time being.

If the Bianconeri were to have their points reinstated, they would jump from seventh place in the Serie A standings into third behind Napoli and Lazio on 59 points.
