Fiorentina have agreed terms with Juventus for Rolando Mandragora and the midfielder will have his medical in a deal worth €9m plus bonuses.

The player spent the last 18 months on loan at Torino and had initially been eager to make that move permanent.

However, Toro could not reach the asking price set by Juve and this allowed Fiorentina to intercept negotiations.

According to multiple sources including Calciomercato.com and Sky Sport Italia, the Viola will purchase Mandragora for €9m plus up to €1m in various add-ons.

Sportitalia quote the figure as €8.5m plus €0.5m if Fiorentina qualify for the Champions League.

His contract will run to June 2026, with an option for another year.

Mandragora turned 25 yesterday and was a product of the Genoa youth academy, joining Juve in January 2016.

He went out on numerous loan spells at Pescara, Crotone, Udinese and Torino.

In the 2021-22 campaign, he made 23 competitive appearances for the Granata, scoring one goal and providing two assists.

The medical is expected next week in Florence.

  1. Good move him but Juve have missed a trick yet again. With de Ligt looking likely to leave, why not use him as a bargaining chip for Bremer. It is what Marotta would have done but the circus is in full flight now.
