The Brazilian goalkeeper’s contract expires in the summer, and he has yet to sign a new deal, with Viola patron Andrea Della Valle believing that a deal is unlikely.

Reports this morning had indicated that Roma were favourites for his signature, but according to Calciomercato, the Giallorossi are not in the running to sign the player.

The website states that the Lupi have never spoken to Neto, and after renewing the contract of Morgan De Sanctis are not in the market for a goalkeeper.

However, the site does believe that Juventus could be a possible destination should Neto leave Florence.

Despite the shot-stopper stating that he would never ‘betray’ the Viola fans by moving to Turin, Calciomercato reports that the Bianconeri are looking into the possibility of signing the 25-year-old.

However, it’s believed that Neto would be reluctant to play second-fiddle, with current Juventus ‘keeper Gianluigi Buffon showing no signs of slowing down.

The website believes that Liverpool are among the foreign clubs interested, with Mattia Perin also on the Anfield club’s radar.
