Juventus have opened talks with David Neres’ entourage as they consider a possible move for the Shakhtar Donetsk winger.
The 25-year-old Brazilian forward joined the Ukrainian side in a deal worth around €12m from Ajax back in the January transfer window, a move he likely regrets considering the Russian invasion put a total stop to normal life in the country less than six weeks later.
As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus have opened contacts with Neres’ entourage as they think about picking up the winger in a fairly low-cost deal. Shakhtar are unable to hold onto their stars as the invasion shows no signs of slowing down, so a number of their players are close to transfers abroad.
Benfica are also reportedly keen to pick up the 25-year-old Brazilian forward, so Juventus will need to send a convincing offer if they want to beat out the competition.

This club cannot even convince a 34 years young player to join them. Dani Alves must have told Di Maria how Obi Wan operates. Neres on the other hand has some negatives. He is way too young for PhD Max, can go past a man and is quick. The Jedi trainer of the “Feng Shui” 1mph ball wants players who can do the back, back, down, down 24/7 effortlessly.
