Juventus have opened talks with David Neres’ entourage as they consider a possible move for the Shakhtar Donetsk winger.

The 25-year-old Brazilian forward joined the Ukrainian side in a deal worth around €12m from Ajax back in the January transfer window, a move he likely regrets considering the Russian invasion put a total stop to normal life in the country less than six weeks later.

As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus have opened contacts with Neres’ entourage as they think about picking up the winger in a fairly low-cost deal. Shakhtar are unable to hold onto their stars as the invasion shows no signs of slowing down, so a number of their players are close to transfers abroad.

Benfica are also reportedly keen to pick up the 25-year-old Brazilian forward, so Juventus will need to send a convincing offer if they want to beat out the competition.

  1. CALMAAAA!!!

This club cannot even convince a 34 years young player to join them. Dani Alves must have told Di Maria how Obi Wan operates. Neres on the other hand has some negatives. He is way too young for PhD Max, can go past a man and is quick. The Jedi trainer of the “Feng Shui” 1mph ball wants players who can do the back, back, down, down 24/7 effortlessly. Just another name being thrown into the mix. Come August, none of the areas (all) will be addressed. 4th spot Tripleta incoming.

  2. @lord Man you write the same nonsense every post, I used to like some of what people said on Here, but it’s getting boring now, it’s not funny, witty or even mildly amusing

  3. I remember Allegri taking Juve to 2 CHL finals. Guess he knows a thing or two about football then.

He don’t care about beauty but about results, and that is the Juve DNA.

Go watch Liverpool or Barcelona if you want fancy moves.

  4. Slow talker or no talker, it really doesn’t matter. Anyone who spaces a few words underneath like you have done, is a special needs person. No shame, but at least defend PhD Max. Come on just a little effort will go a long way. Forget about all these names. They are also linked to Spuds and watch none of them come.

  5. @lord it’s not that I’m defending him, you say the same thing every time on every thread, PhD max, calma, up down up down, some tired joke about getting a player from the 90s, or early 00s,
You never discuss tactics, you never suggest alternatives, it’s tiresome, then resort to cheap kicks, calling a person ‘special’ like its an original and clever insult, sniggering I’m sure at justvhow witty you are, thinking that the individual will suddenly be put in their place. Just try posting something worth discussing, suggest players you would like to see, a system max could employ if he was a good Coach, who would you like to see in there at the helm, who would you shift out, buy, what system would you play,
Please do that, raise the calibre of the chats for us ‘special’ people

  6. he went to benfica rather than play for slowlegri , just like players are going to Spurs; the Coach counts.
