Alvaro Morata’s wife Alice Campello posted a video with one of their sons wearing a Juventus jersey while Matthijs de Ligt’s latest Instagram post makes the Bianconeri fans hope he will stay.
The Dutch centre-back has reached a verbal agreement with Bayern Munich who saw their opening €60m bid rejected by Juventus earlier this week.
De Ligt has a contract until June 2024 with a €120m release clause. He has refused to sign a new deal at the Allianz Stadium and Juve director Maurizio Arrivabene suggested a few weeks ago that the defender had asked to leave.
However, De Ligt’s latest Instagram post has made Juventus fans hope that he will stay in Turin for one more season.
De Ligt posted a few pictures from Wednesday’s training session adding black and white dots and receiving thousands of comments from fans beginning him to stay.

It’s a shame we couldn’t keep Morata. He loves and was giving his all, unlike Kean. What a waste of 35M for Kean. Instead, we could have kept Morata for this money. But the story is over, so let’s move on and get Raspaddori or a similar player to support Dusan
Desperately hope De Ligt stays. He said he’s not happy with the results and finishing fourth. Neither are we! But we’re going to win the league next year. Give us one more year and he’ll be asking for a contract extension!
