The Bianconeri have already secured a top-four finish, but haven’t been credible title conders in Serie A this term, mainly due to a poor start to the season.

They collected just two points in the opening four Serie A games and although their results have been improving thought the season, they haven’t been able to catch the Milanese sides on top of the table.

They could have done so had they won against Inter last month. Their 1-0 loss at the Allianz Stadium against the Nerazzurri is their only defeat since the start of December. Premier League giants Manchester City and Liverpool are the only two teams in Europe’s top five leagues to have lost just one match since.

Juventus visit Genoa at the Stadio Ferraris tonight, but Max Allegri will rotate his squad ahead of next week’s Coppa Italia Final against Inter. It is the Old Lady’s last chance to win a trophy this season.

  1. How is this news? Giving an arbitrary stat over an arbitrary timeline doesn’t mean anything, especially when you also take into account other competitions. Secondly, it is pretty sad that FI try to use EPL clubs as the standard bearers from which to make comparisons.

  2. Does the draws and goals scored matter ? That’s the reason since the start of this season and the next it’ll be clear they won’t win the scudetto like that.
