Juventus are reportedly interested in Roma’s Kevin Strootman, but a transfer is highly unlikely.

The Bianconeri are looking for a central midfielder, and have been linked with the likes of Blaise Matuidi, Steven N’Zonzi and Emre Can.

Now Tuttosport is reporting that the Scudetto holders have made enquiries about signing Strootman.

The Dutch international has a €45m release clause in his contract, but that’s only valid before August 1.

It’s therefore believed Juve are considering testing the waters with a €25m bid.

However, a deal is considered very unlikely, as Roma won’t want to sell and it doesn’t appear Strootman has any desire to follow Miralem Pjanic to Turin.
