Juventus are linked with a possible summer proposal for Real Madrid right-back Lucas Vazquez.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb and Sportitalia, coach Max Allegri has given the all-clear for an attempt to pick up the defender who will turn 32 next month.

His contract with Real Madrid only runs to June 2024, but his salary is a hefty €5.5m per season plus performance-related bonuses.

That could prove a problem for the Bianconeri, not to mention their failure to qualify for the Champions League or Europa League.

It remains to be seen if they will be allowed to enter the Conference League or be excluded by UEFA for Financial Fair Play violations, which resulted in a 10-point Serie A penalty.

Although primarily a right-back, Vazquez has been known to play on the left flank as well.

The Spain international made 30 competitive appearances this season, contributing four goals and three assists too.
