Timothy Castagne could return to Serie A for Juventus, as they are in negotiations with Leicester City for the ex-Atalanta winger.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the talks are in progress and both the player and coach Max Allegri have given their all-clear.

The issue now is reaching an agreement on the transfer fee, but Leicester City are up against it after their relegation to the Championship.

It is reported that Leicester are asking for circa €15m to sell Castagne and Juve are eager to cut that down during the negotiations.

The 27-year-old is under contract until June 2025 and was purchased from Atalanta for €20.9m in September 2020.

He spent three years in Serie A with La Dea before the move to England and would enjoy a return to Italian football.

Primarily a right-back, he can also play as a right wing-back or on the left when needed and has 31 senior caps for Belgium under his belt.
