Cellino previously told the Gazzetta dello Sport that he was ready to make a “great economic sacrifice” to keep Tonali at Brescia.

“If Sandro agrees to stay, I am ready for a great economic sacrifice to renew his contract.

“It’s up to him to decide. He knows that he can continue to have fun here. If he goes to a big club, he might not play.”

Yesterday, the Rondinelle replaced Fabio Grosso with Eugenio Corini, only a month after sacking the promotion-winning coach.

They are in the midst of a six-game losing streak in Serie A and travel to relegation rivals SPAL this weekend.
