If Dejan Kulusevski is flourishing at Tottenham since leaving Juventus, the same cannot be said of Aaron Ramsey, who is finding the same old problems at Glasgow Rangers.

Bianconeri fans are beginning to think it might’ve been a mistake to let Kulusevski leave in the January transfer window, as the Sweden international was on target again in yesterday’s thumping Premier League victory over Leeds United.

While Kulusevski looks like a new player working with Antonio Conte, Juventus supporters can rest easy knowing Ramsey has not resolved any of the issues that made him a drain on the club’s resources.

Since making the loan move to Glasgow Rangers, Ramsey has made four competitive appearances for the club.

There was just one start, playing for an hour in the 3-0 SFA Cup win away to Annan Athletic on February 12, in which the Welshman provided an assist.

Other than that, he played 14 minutes against Hearts on February 6, 15 with Hibs on February 9 and four minutes in the 4-2 Europa League play-off victory away to Borussia Dortmund on February 17.

Ramsey was not even in the Rangers squad for their last three consecutive matches.

It’s not entirely surprising, as the 31-year-old was at Juve from July 2019 to January 2022, playing only 70 competitive games.

  1. He was absolutely a flop, especially when you consider the huge salary. No surprise that he is injured yet again… and the bad news is that he will likely return this summer
