Tuttosport believes that the Old Lady have verbally agreed a deal with the player, which would seem him earn €3m per season in Turin, for a four or five year deal.

However, the newspaper believes that Juve’s initial €18m offer will not be enough to convince Zenit to sell.

The Italian champions would be willing to go as high as €25m, but the Russians are demanding at least €30m for the 26-year-old.

Should the way to Witsel be closed, the Bianconeri also reportedly have Radja Nainggolan on their radar.

The Belgian is co-owned by Roma and Cagliari, a deal which has to be resolved this summer.

Nainggolan is expected to join Roma, but given his value has sky-rocketed during his two seasons in the capital, the Isolate are likely to play hardball.

Should the unlikely happen, Tuttosport believes Juventus are ready to come in with a bid for the combative midfielder.
