Massimiliano Allegri was happy to welcome back two players to his Juventus squad training session today as the rematch against Lazio approaches.

The Bianconeri were left embittered when they faced the Biancocelesti on Saturday evening, suffering a 1-0 loss after a 93rd minute winner from Adam Marusic. It was another disappointing result for the Old Lady, leaving them with just seven points from their last nine games.

Juventus have the chance to take revenge against Igor Tudor’s Lazio in their Coppa Italia semi-final tie. The first leg kicks off at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday night and a strong response is expected by the fans, who have grown tired of the poor form and disappointing play.

Football Italia understands that Alex Sandro and Carlos Alcaraz both returned to squad training with their Juventus teammates at Continassa today, joining the preparations for the cup clash with Lazio. It’ll be clearer tomorrow regarding their availability for the match.

Arkadiusz Milik was still absent due to a muscle adductor injury, having missed the last two matches due to the issue.
