Juventus have announced that Carlo Pinsoglio and Arthur have tested positive for COVID.

The Omicron variant of the virus has had a significant impact on the footballing world in recent weeks, with stars like Lazio’s Ciro Immobile and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen testing positive for the contagion.

As reported by Juventus today, Pinsoglio and Arthur are the latest two Serie A players to test positive for COVID. The pair are already following the prescribed guidelines and are now in isolation.

The pair are now set to miss Juventus’ first game of 2022 against Napoli on January 6 and will most likely miss the following game against Roma on January 9, reducing coach Massimiliano Allegri’s options for the two matches.

The Bianconeri will be hoping that these two players will be the only ones to test positive for the virus, as the upcoming two games will be key in their race for a top four finish this season.

  1. Yes, personally think they should have a booster everyday and anyone who doesn’t agree is ignorant. We all should take Sergio aguros advise

  2. @Angelo. Great advice. And inhale powerful disinfectant instead of oxygen. We’ll beat this together, with our friends in Pfizer and big government.

  3. They are absolutely expendable. Just hope that any of the first team players are infected.
