Juventus could wait to sign Sampdoria’s Patrik Schick next summer, but Roma and Inter are interested now.

The Czech striker was all-set to join the Bianconeri this summer, but they pulled the plug after his medical flagged-up a heart problem.

The issue wasn’t chronic, merely requiring a month of rest, and Schick has now been passed fit to play.

According to his morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are being asked to pay €30.5m for Schick, while Inter are hoping to take him on loan with an obligation tp buy.

However, the player himself would have no problem remaining at the Marassi for another year, knowing that his €25m release clause will become valid again next summer.

Juve could therefore just wait until next year to sign Schick, who it’s thought has contact with Czech Republic legend Pavel Nedved, the Old Lady’s Vice-President.

Obviously the Blucerchiati would prefer to sell for €30m now, but much will depend on the striker’s decision.
