Juventus boss Allegri named Serie A Coach Of The Month for November

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has been named Serie A Coach of The Month for November.

Lega Serie A have announced that the Tuscan tactician was the best coach in Serie A last month.

“Massimiliano Allegri is proving once again that he is a great coach, solid and pragmatic, capable of reading game situations at their best and finding balance and tactical solutions that are optimal for the performances of his teams – explained Lega Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo. 

“Juventus` month of November was perfect, with three wins out of three against Inter, Hellas Verona and Lazio, always without conceding a goal, which allowed the Bianconeri to relaunch themselves in the highest positions of the standings. Allegri has also launched young talents such as Fagioli and Miretti, products of the Bianconeri`s youth academy, onto the Serie A stage”.

Lega Serie A said that Allegri will receive the award in Juventus’ first home game of the year against Udinese on January 7, 2023.

“The award was assigned by a jury of Directors of sports media who evaluated each coach on the basis of technical and sporting criteria and the quality of play of their teams, as well as their behaviour/fair play during matches. For the final calculation were considered the matchdays from 13 to 15 of Serie A 2022/2023,” an official statement reads.

Juventus won the last six Serie A games, including against Lazio and Inter at the Allianz Stadium, scoring 12 goals and conceding none.

The Bianconeri resume their Serie A campaign on January 4, away at Cremonese. Following their impressive results over the last month, Italian media believe Allegri’s men can become title contenders again in January.

Juventus will visit table leaders Napoli at the Stadio Maradona in January and hope to see Paul Pogba return to action after a meniscus surgery when the season resumes.
