Juventus reportedly contacted Giacomo Raspadori’s agents to ask for more time as they work to make space for the Napoli target.

Gianluca Di Marzio details how the Bianconeri spoke to the 22-year-old Italian forward’s entourage yesterday to confirm their interest and ask for a little more time as they look to resolve the Moise Kean situation. Juventus still haven’t managed to re-home their unneeded striker, although a return to Paris Saint-Germain could be a possibility.

Juventus will have to work fast, however, as Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will meet with his Sassuolo counterpart Giovanni Carnevali next week to try and define the details of a possible deal. Current offers sit around €30m, so a strong investment is needed.

Raspadori wants to leave the Neroverdi and has already handed in a transfer request, forcing the club’s hand a little. Sassuolo are willing to sell, but they want to remain in control of the situation.

Last season, the 22-year-old Italian scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 36 Serie A appearances.
