Juventus are still trying to get Chelsea to lower their €25-30m asking price for Italy international full-back Emerson Palmieri.

Their interest in the Brazil-born defender has been known for some time and he had been a prime target when Alex Sandro was set to leave over the summer, and again in January.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Bianconeri are working with Chelsea to cut down the asking price, which is currently at €25-30m.

The negotiations will continue at the end of this season.

Emerson is only 25 years old and spent much of his career in Italy with Palermo and Roma.

He joined Chelsea in January 2018 for €20m, but his progress stalled with a serious knee injury.

The player has made 18 competitive appearances for Chelsea this season.
