La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Juventus and Massimiliano Allegri are losing patience with Paul Pogba adding that the previous management even considered cancelling team bonuses from his contract due to his recurrent physical issues.

Pogba returned to Juventus as a free agent last summer but has yet to make his first competitive appearance in his second spell in Turin.

He was called up for the first official game against Monza on Sunday but then suffered a new flexor injury, so he won’t be available against Lazio in Coppa Italia tonight.

Gazzetta reports Allegri looked quite irritable while talking about the France international during a press conference on Wednesday.

The Italian tactician said Pogba could reach the peak of his form in two or three months, but the season would be almost finished by then.

Juventus got annoyed with Pogba in August when the France midfielder refused to undergo meniscus surgery following a conservative treatment. However, he had to change his mind one month later, seeing that the treatment hadn’t brought benefits.

Gazzetta reports the previous management, which resigned on November 28, 2022, even considered removing team bonuses from Pogba’s contract although the player is unwilling to rediscuss his salary and bonuses despite the many injuries.

Pogba earns €8m plus €2m add-ons in Turin and his contract expires in June 2026.
