Antonio Conte underwent surgery on Wednesday after being diagnosed with cholecystitis and his friend Lapo Elkann sent him a message on social media: ‘Get well soon.’
Elkann is the brother of EXOR’s CEO John and cousin of former Juventus President Andrea Agnelli. Their family hold a controlling stake in the Serie A giants.
Lapo reached out to Conte on social media after learning that his friend would need to undergo surgery to remove his gallbladder.
“Come on Antonio, get well soon,” Lapo wrote on Twitter adding a heart emoji.
Many fans commented on the post asking him to bring Conte back to Juventus, but Elkann has no decisional power at the club at the moment.
Conte underwent surgery on Wednesday and is expected to return to the touchline against Leicester City next week or against Milan in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 at San Siro on February 14.
The ex-Inter and Juventus coach shared an Instagram story on Wednesday saying that the operation went well.
