Domenico Berardi’s agent confirms Juventus have a “verbal agreement” for the Sassuolo striker, but he won’t move in January.

The two clubs had co-owned the Italian Under-21 international until this summer, when the Bianconeri relinquished their half of his registration.

It was thought at the time that the Old Lady would retain an option on the player, and his representative admits there is an agreement in place.

“Juventus have a verbal agreement with Sassuolo for June,” Simone Seghedoni revealed in an interview with Calciomercato.

“That’s still a long way away though, and we’re not thinking about it at the moment. Domenico will not go to Juventus in January, I can categorically rule out leaving in the next transfer window.

“He will not move until June, in line with a program devised along with the club. Domenico is only thinking about continuing his growth with Sassuolo and Coach [Eusebio] Di Francesco.

“His intention is to achieve his targets and score the highest number of goals in Serie A.”
