Last weekend’s Serie B fixtures saw the French national anthem played before kick-off, in tribute to the victims of the Paris terror attacks, with the English Premier League taking the same steps this weekend.
A statement on the Lega Serie A's official website confirmed that “to commemorate the victims” and “express solidarity” La Marseillaise will be played before each game in the Italian top-flight this weekend.
In addition, the French and Italian flags will be displayed on the pitch before kick-off.
