Juventus are working on a plan to tempt Cesena into letting go of the highly-rated Ezequiel Schelotto in January.

According to reports in the peninsula this evening, Juve are keen on re-igniting their interest in the Italian Under-21 international.

Although Serie B side Atalanta are the club that actually own the player, Cesena have him on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Juve director general Beppe Marotta likes Schelotto's versatility seeing as he can play as a right-back, where Juve are struggling, or as a right-winger.

It's being suggested that the former Sampdoria official will ask for Schelotto, on loan, in return for the six-month loan of Davide Lanzafame.

The latter, an attacking player, has rarely featured for the Old Lady since returning to base at the start of the season.
