This weekend’s Lazio-Juventus game won’t decide anything in the Scudetto race, says Biancocelesti ace Cristian Ledesma.

Both clubs currently lead the standings – even though the Old Lady do have a game in hand over the capital club.

Given their position in the table the Olimpico tie is being described by some as decisive, but that is premature according to the midfielder.

“It’s too early to say that it is a Scudetto tie,” the Argentine-born Italian international noted on Wednesday afternoon.

“The table shows that most of the great sides are up there, but the game is only important because Juventus and Lazio are big name clubs.

“The reality is that all of the matches this season will be difficult for everyone.”
