Serie A top scorer German Denis maintains he won’t be looking for revenge against Napoli this weekend.

The Argentine will line-up for Atalanta against the Azzurri – 18 months after the Stadio San Paolo outfit sold him to Udinese.

“I’ve already scored against Napoli while I was playing for Udinese,” the 30-year-old noted. “Therefore it wouldn’t be a new thing for me…

“I have no desire for revenge, I just want to demonstrate how much I am worth – but not to Napoli, to Atalanta.

“I want to illustrate my ability to my new squad, this club, the fans and myself.”

Denis, on loan at Atalanta from the Stadio Friuli, joined Napoli in the summer of 2008, but he only scored 13 top-flight goals in 63 appearances for the club.

In 11 games for the Nerazzurri this term, he’s already grabbed nine goals.
