Juventus are still €8m off an agreement with Manchester United for Matteo Darmian, but Joao Cancelo is heading to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the negotiations for Darmian seem to have hit problems over the last few days.

The player is already in Italy and has been since last week, but the two clubs have not reached an agreement.

Manchester United are not lowering their €20m asking price and Juve will not increase the original €12m proposal.

Sky and Sportitalia also deny reports that Juventus will turn towards Joao Cancelo, who spent this season on loan at Inter from Valencia.

Both Italian television channels claim that Cancelo is on the verge of a transfer to newly-promoted Premier League side Wolves, who are offering a massive €40m.

The right-back just turned 24 and contributed one goal with four assists in 26 Serie A appearances.
