Juventus’ Serie A season has been kick-started by last night’s 4-0 win over Torino, according to Alessio Tacchinardi.

Two goals by Pablo Dybala and further strikes by Miralem Pjanic and Alex Sandro gave Max Allegri’s team a commanding derby victory over their cross-city rivals, who were reduced to 10 men after Daniele Baselli’s sending off.

And former Old Lady player Tacchinardi believes that, despite some underwhelming performances at the start of this campaign, Juve will now go from strength to strength.

“In my opinion, Juventus’ season starts now,” the ex-midfielder told Mediaset.

“They showed a ferocious desire to attack that hadn’t been seen before.

“The whole team was mauling the opponents. With that attitude they will tear their opponents to pieces.

“There are so many options in terms of the forwards.”
