The 23-year-old missed the vast majority of last season after sustaining knee ligament damage to his left knee, requiring surgery and a lengthy recuperation process on the sidelines.
Although last night’s injury was to the opposite knee and despite the fact Milik was able to leave the field unaided, his club remain concerned.
“How is it? Not bad, it’s not like last time,” the player is quoted as saying, offering hope that even if he is to be sidelined once more, it will not be for as long.
Milik is scheduled to undergo testing today to determine the full extent of the problem.
