Juventus have failed to agree terms with Valencia for Joao Cancelo, but remain optimistic they can get the full-back.

Valencia directors Mateu Alemany and Pablo Longoria left Milan this afternoon, having been in talks with several Italian clubs.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Onda Deportiva Valencia, the Bianconeri have a deal with Cancelo, but are still working on the terms of the operation with his club.

Valencia wanted €40m from Inter after his loan spell and are sticking by that price-tag.

Before shelling out such a sum, Juventus first want to monetise some of their other players, such as Rolando Mandragora, Stefano Sturaro and Alberto Cerri.

There are several clubs interested in Cancelo, but Juve remain optimistic they’ll get the Portugal international in the end.
