Sky Sport Italia confirms Milan enquired about Merih Demiral, but Juventus have no intention of letting the defender leave.

Rai Sport made the seemingly-spurious claim on Monday that Juve were considering sending Demiral to Milan on loan.

That has since been backed up by Sky’s Fabrizio Romano, who explains the Rossoneri were hoping to capitalise on Matthijs de Ligt’s move to Juventus.

However, Romano made it clear the Bianconeri had ‘no intention’ of shifting the Turk and that even if they did, they still wanted ‘control’ of his future.

Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, writes Merih is ‘unsellable’ for the Old Lady as sporting director Fabio Paratici ‘has a lot of belief’ in him.

The 21-year-old recently joined Juve for €18m after a successful loan spell at Sassuolo.
