The decision is in the air after this weekend’s five Serie A fixtures were postponed to May 13 – including Juventus-Inter and Milan-Genoa – two days after they had been ordered to play behind closed doors.

That was the date of the Coppa Italia Final, which will now be on May 20.

As the Stadio Olimpico needs to prepare for Euro 2020, it means the venue could also change from Rome to Milan.

Meanwhile, the Coronavirus lockdown orders expire on Sunday at midnight, but some regions with more cases are likely to extend them for another week.

Piedmont, Friuli and Liguria look set to end their lockdown orders, so schools will open up again, along with them sporting events, museums and other public spaces.

The lockdown in Lombardy, Emilia and Veneto is set to be extended.

There is a fundamental lack of consistency in the application of the rules to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

It’s reported the Coppa Italia semi-final in Turin on Wednesday March 4 will be played with only fans from the Piedmont region present, not those from Lombardy.

Yet this weekend fans from Bologna have been allowed to travel to Lazio, and Atalanta supporters to Lecce.

Earlier this week, Juventus fans were allowed to travel to France for the Champions League game against Lyon with no restrictions.

There is another Coppa Italia semi-final on Thursday, Napoli v Inter, so will Nerazzurri fans be barred from making that journey?
