There are conflicting reports on Rodrigo Bentancur, as while in South America they see a done deal to Milan, Juventus remain contenders.

Multiple sources in Argentina and Uruguay claim that Boca Juniors have agreed a transfer for €12m plus bonuses to reach €15m and he is already en route to Italy for a medical.

However, Juve retain an option to buy for €9.4m that can be activated until April 2017 and was ratified as part of the Carlos Tevez move.

There could also be an option to sign him immediately for €7.5m.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Boca would much prefer the player go to Juventus, as he’d be allowed to remain in Argentina for one more year.

With this in mind, Mediaset Premium suggest that Milan have given Boca a 48-hour deadline to hand over Bentancur or they’ll look elsewhere.

The Rossoneri hope to rely on the player’s demands, as it’s widely believed the 19-year-old only wants Milan.
