Young forward Andrea Favilli scored again as Juventus beat the MLS All-Stars on penalties, following a 1-1 draw in normal time.

The 21-year-old, who has been linked with a loan move to Genoa and Porto in recent days, put Max Allegri’s team ahead in the 21st minute of last night’s contest in Atlanta.

Josef Martinez equalised just five minutes later and, after no further goals were scored, the match was decided by spot-kicks.

And the Serie A champions emerged victorious, with defender Mattia De Sciglio netting the winning penalty.

The win is Juve’s third in a row of pre-season, although two of those have been in shootouts.

The Bianconeri beat Bayern Munich 2-0 last Thursday, with Favilli scoring both goals, before edging out Portuguese side Benfica on spot-kicks last weekend.

Juventus complete their current tour of the United States with a match against European champions Real Madrid this Saturday evening.
