Juventus are in talks with Chelsea to retain Juan Cuadrado for a total €24m deal, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The Colombia international spent this season on loan in Turin and rediscovered his confidence after a shaky six months in the Premier League.

According to reports in Italy this evening, Juve are in negotiations to extend the loan by another year for €2m.

Crucially, it would include a mandatory option to buy in June 2017 for €22m.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will give this the all-clear, as new Coach Antonio Conte is eager to work with Cuadrado.

The Stamford Bridge side spent €31m to take Cuadrado from Fiorentina in February 2015.
